Application

Coaxial CATV drop cable for indoor application, used for device connection to cable TV distribution network and as antenna-cable for earth and satellite broadcasting systems. Suitable for fixed and temporarily mobile installation, but not for constant shifting. Foamed polyethylene of low dielectric constant and triple shield enable low attenuation, low signal distortion and exceptionally high-speed signal diffusion.

Construction

Concentric conductors, insulation (dielectric) and sheath. Cable retains its function if inner and external conductor are at exact constant distance, without any cable bending.
Inner conductor: copper, solid, of diameter 0,8 mm
Insulation (dielectric): foamed polyethylene, of external diameter 3,5 mm
External conductor:
1. layer: Al-PET-Al foil (PET – earlier mark: PETP)
2. layer: braid of tinned copper, 40% optical covering, of external diameter 4,2 mm
Screen: PET-Al foil
Sheath: PVC, external diameter 5 ± 0,2 mm
sheath colour: white
